You Can Volunteer

A recent national study showed Scouts grow up to be outstanding citizens. Former Scouts credit the honesty, teamwork, respect and confidence they learned as Scouts with contributing to their success as adults.

Scouting needs the effort of dedicated adults to work. Scouting needs adults to provide the example, to teach the skills, and the values our youth need to become the type of adult we want them to be. If you'd like to volunteer your time, or expertise, please contact Great Trail Council for more information.

Or You Can Help By Donating

The need in this era of declining values is greater than ever. Camp attendance has grown and special outreach programs have been expanded to meet an important need in our communities. But support from one of our largest sources, United Way, has declined in recent years.  The Scouts and their adult leaders can't do it alone. More now than ever, they need your support.

That means Friends of Scouting continues to be the critical link between these youth and their future, providing more than a quarter of the annual funds raised.

If Scouts are to be faithful to their oath, we must renew ours to support them, to show confidence in them and to demonstrate leadership by our example.

We are also committed to our long term goal of providing Scouting for future generations.  You can leave a legacy that would last beyond your lifetime by contributing to our Endowment fund.
