Serving Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Venturing Crews in Summit, Portage, Medina, and Northern Wayne Counties from our Akron, Ohio office.
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Boy Scout Oath and Law. It is the Vision of the Great Trail Council to reinforce traditional family values through the delivery of Boy Scout programs that will foster creativity, promote family unity, and inspire and motivate our Boy Scouts to develop the skills that will provide the foundation needed to become productive citizens. More than 13,000 youth in over 350 units are guided by more than 5,000 adult volunteers, all focused on a common vision of building a brighter future for themselves and their communities in Summit, Portage, Medina & Wayne Counties.
