Reservations for the 2008-2009 Weekend Season are now available for Great Trail Council units. Out of Council units may make their reservations beginning August 1, 2008. Please visit the year-around camping pages for more information.

The Manatoc Scout Reservation is located in Peninsula, Ohio and consists of Camp Manatoc and Camp Butler. Camp Manatoc hosts GTC's Summer Camp program, and has 30 buildings available for year-around camping use. Camp Butler host's many programs year around including youth and adult Training Courses, Family Camping, Cub Scout Day Camp, and the Haunted Hay Ride.

The firewood supply throughout the Reservation is abundant and plentiful. Scouts are encouraged to use the downed lumber for their firewood supply. Units visiting Camp Manatoc or Camp Butler however may bring their own firewood provided it originated in SUMMIT COUNTY.

We are aggressively participating in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to limit the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer. This program is designed to limit the spread of the insect.
